It all started when...
I began my practice in beautiful Sherwood in 2000 and the modalities I love to work with are Japanese and Chinese Acupuncture; Relaxation and Remedial Massage / Bodywork; and Chinese Herbal Medicine. My treatments are suitable for all ages, but I predominantly work with teenagers and adults who are seeking to gain a greater understanding of how to improve overall performance and general quality of life, reducing pain and managing stress.
My first massage studies were in 1990 purely for taking care of friends and family, which I definitely enjoyed (and so did they) whilst pursuing other education and adventures. When I first encountered Acupuncture, I was truly in awe of this ancient medical art. I also knew that this was how I wished to use my life. I have been providing acupuncture and massage treatments professionally since 1998 and have the following qualfications:
- adv. dip. health Sc. - acupuncture
- grad. cert. japanese acupuncture.
- diploma of remedial massage
I am a nationally registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner (CMR 0001717198) with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) under the auspices of the Australian Health Practitioners Register of Australia (AHPRA). I am a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association(AACMA).
In accordance with the registration standards of the CMBA, all registered Chinese medicine practitioners are obliged to meet standards of safety and efficacy.
Thanks for visiting. I hope to see you soon!
